Report by Peter Hamblin and Kim Ghafur.
11 stalwart Trinitarians and 3 wives attended Van Hage Garden Centre Café, Great Amwell, Ware SG12 9RP on Tuesday 4 June for the 2024 Trinity Reunion.
Many had travelled a long way. Fred Brailey (Hampshire) picking up Judith Neville, Les and Jan Cook (Kent), Betty Phillips (Norfolk) and last but not least Tony Pugh who had travelled all the way from Exeter in Devon. Roger Smedley who sadly could not attend phoned us and spoke to his 1951 colleagues.
Everyone enjoyed the reserved garden cafe area where cold and hot food was on the menu, and with our exclusive waitress staff.
Those attending were as follows: Fred Brailey (1950); Les (1951) and Jan Cook; Jacky Free (1950): Colin (1951) and Alice Hale; Alan Johnson (1950): Colin Marr (1951); Mike Martin (1952); Judith Neville (1952); Betty Phillips (1951); Tony Pugh (1951): Kim (1951) and Sandy Ghafur.
Kim Ghafur wore his school blazer with Trinity badge, school tie, and hat with prefects tie as hat band.
PS: Mike Martin (1952) presented KJ Ghafur with a special issue Trinity School Magazine 1957 for Dr. Jones Memorial in which he gave a eulogy "Let Us Now Praise Famous Men."
