Interesting miscellaneous items

The "Trinity Caps and Badges" item is a collection of photos of caps, prize-book badge and prefects badges from the 1950s supplied by Colin Marr. Caps and badges as worn by Colin and his late wife Maureen Spinks, Girls Captain 1959/60.

The “Home Made” Trinity School Magazines

In addition to the “official” school magazines, three “home-made” Trinity County magazines have come to light. It is believed they were put together during the Second World War by students calling themselves “Pip Squeak and Wilfred”. Contributors included Margaret Allday, Muriel Fowler, Audrey Newson, L Grafton, John Kemp, Doris Clarke and Mr Eustace. It is not clear whether these were produced at Hatfield Peverel or perhaps following the return of the school to Wood Green in early 1943.

The magazines are included here for historical reasons, and well worth reading for their humour and details of their thoughts and experiences at the time.
